Campout

The day after Thanksgiving Dad had the great idea to go camping. A little cold, yes, but did we have fun or what!!?? A couple of us went up on Friday and had fun making stew, chocolate pineapple upside down, right side up cake (Dad's speciality), and hot chocolate. The kids did a great job making the firepit and collecting firewood. The next morning we had eggs and bacon, mountain man style and then we went fourwheelin' in all the Sammys and Bill's Durango. Wahoo! We only flipped one of the Sammys!! Just kidding! I think the kids loved shooting the guns and we were all impressed with Bill's amazing paper plate demolishing skills. Thanks Mom and Dad for getting everything organized. Can't wait until the next adventure!!

I'd like to take credit for organizing this shindig, but, I think you know better! You were just being kind! The pictures and the commentary are fantastic! It looks like fun....and it was! I like the picture of Dad and I. Did you notice how Dad is leaning the other way? ...... As if I'm going to turn the gun on him! HA!

It is downright frightening how much Zane and Sam look alike! I'm surprised I haven't already said this! Time for a blog update, Beth! I'm dying to know more about the new baby on the way and the big move coming up. :)
