Cannon Beach

Chad and I and the kiddos spontaneously decided to take a lil' mini vacation this past weekend. When Chris and Carlie told us that they were going to be going to Cannon Beach we decided to crash their gig and tag along. For those of you that have seen "Goonies" (I don't see why anyone might NOT have seen it because it's only one of the all time raddest 80's classics EVER!) pay particularly close attention to the big rock jutting out of the ocean....look familiar??? Yes this is the beach where One Eye'd Willy's ship comes sailing around the corner. Ba-by Ruuuth! Love it.

We had a great trip and can't wait to go back again sometime. But, first I have to go look up in my attic for a ragged and worn treasure map, then fight off the evil Fratelli's, meet a grotesque, but oh so lovable disfigured man, and lastly, sail through the misty seas from behind Haystack Rock. Oh, good times...
