Christmas Craziness!

Merry belated Christmas everyone.

Hope y'all had a lovely holiday. Ours was jammed packed with family, food and festivities! We sure know how to squeeze all the good stuff into just a few days!! My post is pretty much a carbon copy of Carlie's, but oh well :)

Well, to kick off the Christmas craziness I attempted to make my family's traditional Crescent Rolls BY MYSELF this year. They didn't turn out too shabby and oh yeah, they tasted freaking awesome!!!
I wasn't sure what to do with all this white stuff around my house. I guess this is what they mean by having a "White Christmas"!!

Spreading a lil' holiday cheer
Christmas Eve morning, Carlie and I, with the help of our little "elves", got to go deliver some Christmas bags from the Orthopedic families to the soldiers and veterans in the hospital. The kids had a really good time and felt awesome after doing it.

Soaking up the season!
All the kiddos enjoyed a dip before the Christmas Eve festivities started.

I'm surprised none of the kids caught hypothermia! They were loving it!!

Mom: "Zane, go stand in the snow! I need a picture for my blog!"
Zane: "Mom I can't feel my toes!"

Christmas Eve at Chris and Carlie's

Zane and Lexi sang "Samuel Tells of Baby Jesus" for our little program.

Amazing, but true. All the guys got up and sang "We Three Kings".

Bunch of big ol' boys!!

Lexi sure loved seeing her Grandpa Barney!

The kids all got to pick out a little gift for themselves and one to share with another person.

Glad to have Daddy around for Christmas!!

Chad and his mini-me!!

Christmas Morning
Thankfully Chad didn't have to go in on Christmas morning so we all got to open present together!!
So my kids are a little OCD...

We were so glad that we also got to see Aunt Kristi Marie and Uncle Preston a few times. Here's Kristi Marie having to fight Lexi Marie for the last bite of French Silk Pie. You've finally met your match Kristi!!

All in all, a marvelous Christmas season. Hopefully we can all continue to find peace and joy in our lives and prolong that amazing holiday cheer!!

Your kids are so cute! It looks like all of you had a fun Christmas. I love the hot tub pictures.
I can't believe how grown up Nixon looks. And all the teeth! Gabe doesn't have any yet, and I don't think he's even close. hmmm.
