Saturday was a great day. The fam signed up to do a day of service at the Habitat for Humanity store in Bermerton. We got to go help serve lunch to the volunteers there.

Zane said that service was important because it helps us to learn to be nice to others and then those other people will be nice to other people and on and on. And Lexi, even though she had a yucky stomach (blehh..) she said that serving others helped her feel happy and she liked helping.

Chad and I were just happy he had the day off. We were also stoked that we got tickets to Disneyland!! (www.GiveADayGetADisneyDay.com)

Well, the kids, Chad and I all had a great time. We felt good assisting others and hope we can make it more of a habit rather than a special occasion. "When ye are in the service of your fellow beings, ye are only in the service of your God."
Later that evening we had a super time at our church's family game night. Volleyball was especially fun because I got a souvenir out of it.
