Multnomah Falls

This past weekend was incredible! After the kids' soccer games on Saturday, Chad and I just up and decided to drive to Portland to see Multnomah Falls. It is the fourth largest waterfall in the US. Absolutely beautiful! The kids were outstanding lil' hikers and hiked all the way to the top of the falls.

Of course, Nixon was the first one to take the plunge into the chilly water. He had a great time pointing out all the dogs on the trail and eating all our trail mix.

Zane was such a trooper. He didn't complain once and was so encouraging to other hikers as we were coming back down. "Don't worry, you're almost there!!"

Lexi was great too. Although her little legs were really getting tired towards the end, she hung tough. Girl power!Big Rocks!
