Accomplishments

Well, all I can say is that it has been one busy school year.  From Chad's crazy schedule, to MMA, to dance, preschool, piano, etc etc. we have definitely been on our toes the past few months.  I'm super proud of what we all have accomplished this past year.  I've seen the kiddos grow in leaps and bounds and have witnessed our family's bond with one another become even stronger...even if there have been a few tiffs and black eyes along the way.  Here's just a few of some of the kid's fantastic accomplishments.

For some reason my camera didn't record Zane at his piano recital, so here he is in his PJs on our awfully out of tune piano.  He did a remarkable job at his recital and received a ton of compliments. He also played at the school's talent show this year and did super!!

Lexi has LOVED dance this year!  She has really enjoyed jazz and her teacher tells me that, "She's a a wonderful student who has some real natural abilities."

Nixon has officially completed his first year of preschool!!  I was so nervous sending him this year because, well, Nixon can be a handful to say the least :)  His teachers said that he did great and are excited to have him back next year...let's just hope he has a class full of girls again.  They really know how to mellow him out.

Aaaand another one bites the dust!  One more year to go until residency is FINISHED!!  I'm constantly in awe of Chad and his hard work and dedication to his training.  I admire him more than he'll ever know and am so abundantly proud of him.  Wahhoooo!

One of our most important and biggest goals that we accomplished as a family this year was completing the Book of Mormon.  Every night, we would read a section of the Book of Mormon.  The kids decided around December time that they would like to finish it before the end of the school year.  Chad and I told them that if we met this goal as a family, that we could have a pizza party at Chuck E Cheese.  Let's just say, sitting through scripture study, although still a bit of a challenge, went a little easier after that.  So, with 7 days to go, we finished it.  It was wonderful to see how genuinely excited the kids were and how (at least I'd like to think) they were touched by the words within it's covers.  Oh and our pizza party rocked!  Tokens and tickets up the wazoooo!

Love everyone and hope life is treating y'all just grand!

Hurray for you guys! Lexi is so stinkin' cute in her outfit!

After a million (okay, at least 6) moves, we finally had our piano tuned. Oh. My. Word. I had the biggest headache after he was done, since he spent an hour and a half plunking every single key. It was terrible...

What huge accomplishments for all your kiddos! What a crazy busy year!

And I hate that you look better in my dress than I do.
